My second oil painting. Although the anatomy is off, the values are getting there.



My first oil painting. Everyone in my class had to do this reference of Lincoln. It was pretty cool to see how everyone's turned out so differently.



Ink. The reference for this piece was chosen by my teacher. I also think the values are working well here.

I think these pieces were a few of my stronger ones from last year. These were all done in my Illustration Techniques class with Pat Underdown my second semester.

To get started, I would just like to post a few of the things I did last year at Creative Studies. Some of this is foundation work but I have a few pieces from my illustration classes as well. I will try to post some current work as soon as I can.

Start of a new school year

Just a quick post to get things started. I'm back in school now which has motivated me to start this blog. Throughout the year, I'll post in-class and out-of-class drawings, paintings, etc.

This is one piece is did over the summer for bd's Mongolian barbeque. Acrylic paint on plexiglass.
