It's been four long years. Lots of memories. Lots of hard work. Graduation and the student exhibition opening night were two great days to say my final "see you later's" to people. I'm moving to Paris on July 1st and am very excited for what the future holds. Very excited to start my life with my boyfriend whom I met at CCS 4 years ago. But, there will always be a special place in my heart for a few of my closest friends and mentors from CCS.
(The above picture is of my great teachers: Casey Wise (my perspective teacher), Erik Olson (my figure/painting teacher), Don Kilpatrick (my Senior Studio/ Independent study teacher) and Gil Ashby (head of the Illustration department). All really great guys who have taught me a lot!
But, a special thank you goes out to my mom and dad who have supported me every step of the way. Without them this wouldn't have been possible.
Goodbye Detroit.
It's been fun while it's lasted...but I'm seriously ready to move on.
