Get your Illustration fix Montreal...next PARIS!

Bonjour a tous!


Back in October I signed with the illustration agency, Colagene. Ever since the beginning of my senior year at CCS I had been looking at this agency. There are so many talented artists in the group. Long story short..I'm so honored to be a part of this group of illustrators. My agents have been so great to me. It's just been a really wonderful experience so far and I can't wait for future projects with them.


In February there was the expo and launch of the new guide for the agency. I've posted photos below of the artwork and the event. There will be another launch for Paris on March 10th from 6-10 pm. For anyone in Paris please come and check it out!

Brief francaise: Pour la sortie officielle de la troisième édition de son guide, Colagene organise cet évènement ouvert à tous. Le nouveau guide y sera présenté, une nouvelle fois, comme l’outil de référence pour les directeurs artistiques, designers et autres professionnels créatifs ayant recours aux services qu’offre Colagene, à savoir l'illustration, le motion design, le rough et storyboard.

Le Guide présente le travail de l’ensemble des artistes représentés par l’agence. Pour sa réalisation, chaque artiste a produit une illustration originale sur le concept Get your illustration fix. Plus d'une quinzaine d’entre elles ont été sélectionnées et déclinées en sérigraphies qui seront exposées et mises en vente le soir de l’évènement. Les sérigraphies seront tirées chacune à 5 exemplaires et seront exposées durant les 2 jours suivant l’évènement à la Galerie. Les motion designers ont, quant à eux, chacun, réalisés une animation originale qui sera projetée lors de la soirée.

Brief English: For the official release of the third edition of its guide, Colagene organizes this event open to all. The new guide will be presented, once again, as a reference tool for art directors, designers and other creative professionals who use the services offered by Colagene, namely the illustration, motion design, and the rough storyboard .

The guide presents the work of all artists represented by the agency. For its realization, each artist has produced an original illustration of the concept Get your Illustration fix. More than a dozen of them were selected and broken down into screenprints will be exhibited and offered for sale the night of the event. These series will be drawn each 5 copies and will be exhibited during the two days following the event at the Gallery. The motion designers, meanwhile, each made an original animation that will be projected during the evening.

It should be a really fun night. I can't wait to see the outcome of the event. I hope to see you there!
